Every year, Google puts together a video of the most important events in the last 12 months, and this year is no different. They call it the Zeitgeist, and it's an appropriate mash-up of the revolutions, the disasters, and the news-making events that we'll hopefully remember as 2011. Yes, it's a little sappy, but I think it's appropriate for the year's end.
If nothing else, it's a great reminder of how plugged-in a company like Google is. The amount of data they mine must be a great resource in finding all these stories and video clips.
