T&D Corporation (Saratoga Springs, NY) now offers the RTR-500AW, a wireless LAN-connected data collector for wireless data loggers. The RTR-500AW acts as a wireless base unit for any of TandD's RTR-500 Series data loggers as remote units. The RTR-500AW monitors and downloads readings from the remote units over a 900MHz wireless link and then presents the data over a network through an 802.11g Wi-Fi connection. The data is delivered to the user through direct transfer to an FTP server, via email or online though T&D's free WebStorage Service. This allows the data to be collected without a PC and makes it possible to share and manage data over a network.
