The IMPULSE G+ Series 4 can be used as an open-loop vector or V/F crane control for traverse motions or mechanical load brake hoists. It can be used as a closed-loop flux vector crane control specifically designed for non-mechanical load brake hoists and high performance traverse motions. According to the company, features include Load Check II, which continuously detects hoist overload conditions throughout the frequency range, halting upward motion and only allowing the load to be lowered.
