General Electric (Charlottesville, VA) unveiled its new NETernity CP921RC-30x 6U CompactPCI 24-port gigabit Ethernet switch. Featuring a fully-managed Layer 2.3+ switch with support for ‘future-proof’ IPv6 switching and routing, the switch offers high bandwith and the functionality necessary to deliver the proper amount of network uptime.

General Electric (Charlottesville, VA) unveiled its new NETernity CP921RC-30x 6U CompactPCI 24-port gigabit Ethernet switch. Featuring a fully-managed Layer 2.3+ switch with support for ‘future-proof’ IPv6 switching and routing, the switch offers high bandwith and the functionality necessary to deliver the proper amount of network uptime. The CP921RC-30x is optionally available with two front panel 10 gigabit Ethernet ports and two gigabit Ethernet ports capable of supporting SFP + and SFP transceivers. The CP921RC-30x Ethernet switch supports high-availability hot swap as well as IPMI v1.5 to further improve availability, maintainability, and manageability.  As well as supporting Layer-2/3+ switching, it can support Layer 4-7 switching, when required.
