Carlson Wireless Technologies (Arcata, CA) unveiled its newly expanded Trailblazer Star™ Wireless Multipoint Data and PBX Extension System. Designed to meet the requirements of the utility and enterprise markets, the Trailblazer Star’s flexible, integrated MUX technology now incorporates both Carrier Class Voice service and SCADA capabilities into one enclosure. Used extensively as a wireless PBX extension solution for voice, the TB-Star now has new interface options including 4-wire (E&M), serial ports (RS232, RS485, RS422), public address, intercoms, emergency phones (Femco/Guardian) and Ethernet (VoIP/Data). It is also available in a variety of licensed and license-exempt frequencies such as 2.3 - 2.5, 5.x and 4.9 GHz.
