Janam Technologies (Woodbury, NY) announced the release of its new XG105 gun-shaped rugged mobile computer.  The XG105 augments the XG Series product line with laser-based barcode scanning that reads barcodes as far as 17ft (5.2m) away. Janam’s XG Series was designed for scan-intensive, extended shift use in demanding environments. It offers such features as pre-installed Wavelink Avalanche and TE, well-spaced keys, and mobile DDR memory. The Series includes the XG100 with Honeywell’s Adaptus imaging technology and the XG105 with Motorola’s SE96X high-performance laser scan engine.
