(Lake Mary, FL) has developed the FARO Laser Scanner Focus3D, which is a 3D laser scanner for detailed measurement and documentation, with a intuitive touch screen control that makes it as easy to operate as a digital camera, according to the company. It is four times lighter and five times smaller than its predecessor, and is able to produce detailed 3D images in only a few minutes. Additional features include:
