Bunting (Newton, KS) has launched an addition to its material handling product line, the DragSlide conveyor, designed to convey shredded plastic films or light fibrous materials. The DragSlide has been engineered to avoid the issues typically found with belted conveyors, namely clinging to the belt. A dual chain-driven flight, made of UHMW, drags shredded material inside the enclosed conveyor frame. The DragSlide is also available in a variety of configurations, allowing the company to customize the equipment to its needs.
