Rollprint Packaging Products Inc. (Addison, IL) announces the launch of a high-performance, 100 percent polyester lidding alternative for medical, pharmaceutical, and food processing applications. The SteamOne uses are much as 50 percent less material and helps companies meet recycling objectives. The polyester construction allows the lidding to be recycled in the “number one” steam. Additional features include:
- A downgauge of 50 percent when compared to traditional structures, according to the company.
- A wide sealing window to run on horizontal form-fill-seal units.
- A tamper-evident lid.
- Thicknesses between 1 and 2 mils, with 1 mil PET and 0.5 mil proprietary polyester peelable sealant.
