The Series 4600 2-way pilot operated diaphragm solenoid valves from Spartan Scientific (Boardman, OH) are now offered with an adjustable metering handle to restrict or manually shut off media flow. In addition, the media and pilot can be separated to extend the life of the valve by keeping corrosive material out of the pilot section. These valves can be controlled by an external or internal pilot, which allows for pressure change applications from 15 to 150 psi. The 4600 also features a glass-filled nylon body and cover, a nitril diaphragm, stainless steel internal components, and a standard copper shading ring.
