The Vibro-Curb from the Thybar Corporation (Addition, IL) has integral vibration-dampening spring isolators for mounting with rooftop HVAC units, allowing roofing to be completed after HVAC installation without disturbing the unit. In addition, the 9” counter-flashing provides a weather seal while permitting easy access to the isolators, which provide a minimum of 90 percent isolation efficiency. The isolators are custom-sized and spaced to accommodate the unit’s weight and center of gravity, and vertical limit stops eliminate excessive movement.
