Liquid Magnetics

Bunting Magnetics Co. (Newton, KS) has launched a new Tapered-Step design model in the plate-style series of their Magnetic Liquid Trap product line. The new style is structured to hold ferrous debris against its solid tapered step to prevent wipe-off of tramp iron, even in high-density applications.

The tapered-step also works with volumes up to 180 gallons per minute. High-energy Neodymium magnets are included, and are capable of handling a 300º F temperature load, which makes them ideal for clean-and-place systems. All Bunting liquid traps can handle high-pressure processing lines; the 2” models are rated at 250 psi, while the 3” and 4” models handle up to 200 psi.
