Thybar Corporation (Addison, IL) now offers the Retro-Curb, an insulated roof curb that allows for unrestricted positioning on standing seam roof systems. The curb has a flat, pre-punched base flange that can be cut out to allow perfect alignment with the seams on the roof, and they are custom designed to accommodate any roof slope. The standard construction includes #18 Ga. AX-55 GALVALUME with mitered and fully-welded corners and loose cell caps to match most standing seam configurations. This allows for a watertight installation. Fiberglass insulation is also standard, and a number of optional features are also available.
