Hitachi America (Tarrytown, NY) has announced compliance with NSF/ANSI Standard 61-Annex G for their submersible pump motor line-up. The Annex-G standard (Weighted Average Lead Content Evaluation Procedure to a 0.25 Percent Lead Requirement) was developed in response to California’s Low Lead Plumbing Law, which mandates a maximum lead content of 0.25 percent for products that come in contact with drinking water. Hitachi’s complete range of submersible pump motors range in size from 6” to 14”, and in power ratings from 5 to 300hp.
