The system is well-suited for inspection of turbines, airframes, process tanks and vessels, tubing, heat exchanges, hydraulic cylinders, and more.

Lenox Instrument Company (Trevose, PA) announces the Portable Videoscope System that combines video technology, cordless operation, compact portability, and rugged durability. The system is well-suited for inspection of turbines, airframes, process tanks and vessels, tubing, heat exchanges, hydraulic cylinders, and more. A 7” wide screen TFT monitor that displays images and is both tiltable and removable from its case with a 6.6’ umbilical cable. Other features include:

  • The choice between a miniature 1” diameter, removable, 120° FOV, color CCD camera head; or a 1.5” diameter, 360° pan and 180° tilting camera head with built-in LED lighting.
  • A flexible push rod that allows the camera to negotiate 90 degree bends and inspect at lengths up to 98 feet.
  • A built-in RCA video output that allows the system to connect to an optional high-definition recorder capable of capturing video.
  • A compact, heavy-duty carrying case that includes 2 NIMH rechargeable batteries.
