Union Process, Inc. (Akron OH) is now offering an optional data acquisition package to provide customers with real-time data for monitoring conditions in the manufacturing facility, as well as improving quality control and making test comparisons easier. The software package is designed to interface with the Baldor VS1SP variable frequency drive, and enables customers to monitor the following parameters:
- Voltage to the motor.
- Motor current in amps, and absolute speed in RPM.
- The torque in Newton-meters.
- The reference speed in Hertz.
- The actual motor RPM, along with the agitator RPM.
The package transfers the data to be displayed on any personal computer using the Modbus TCP/IP. The data can be logged to a text file or an Excel spreadsheet for future reference.
