Schober USA (Fairfield, OH) announces five VentPerf-Hot systems for the online or offline micro-perforation of film and other specialty materials. According to the company, the VentPerf-Hot systems are ideal for packaging or ventilation applications, with a system to fit any need. Each is available as either a standalone package with integrated unwind, re-wind, and web guiding, or they can be integrated into a production line. Other features include:
- Digital temperature displays and PID temperature controls, designed to automatically engage the system only when the programmed roll temperature is reached and when the web is at speed.
- A perforation density of up to 160 holes per square inch with the MICROTEX system, and an operating speed of up to 320 feet per minute.
- A perforation density of up to 600 holes per square inch with the TERMICA, STAR 1, and STAR 2 systems.
