(Plumsteadville, PA) has announced the Scaletron Model 1020 5-Digital Controller, which is designed to provide monitoring of water treatment chemicals when used in conjunction with the company's line of drum, tank, platform, and spill containment scales. The controller is available in one or two channels, each with 4-20mA standard, and can be configured to simultaneously monitor levels in two separate chemical containers independently. Other features include:
- Accuracy at 0.1 percent to 0.25 percent of full scale capacity.
- A backlit, 2-line, 16-character, alphanumeric display, plus software that allows the user to monitor chemicals in a variety of formats.
- A NEMA 4X, UL-approved enclosure that can be remote-mounted up to 200 feet from the scale base frame.
- The capability to measure the usage of chlorine gas, sodium hypochlorite, and other chemicals.
