Redesigned Butterfly Valves

(Mineral Point, MO) announces that the tapered-seat design of its LBF Series Lined Butterfly Valves requires lower torque in all applications, has improved seat integrity, and significantly improves the service life of the valve. The butterfly valves are available in 12 different sizes — from 2” to 24” — and have been designed for use in corrosive processes.

Sure Seal, Inc. (Mineral Point, MO) announces that the tapered-seat design of its LBF Series Lined Butterfly Valves requires lower torque in all applications, has improved seat integrity, and significantly improves the service life of the valve. The butterfly valves are available in 12 different sizes — from 2” to 24” — and have been designed for use in corrosive processes. The LBF valves feature spherically-molded and machined sealing surfaces that are securely anchored within the faces of the valve body. Other feature include:

  • A 360°, non-wetted, radially loaded elastomeric energizer to provide uniform pressure.
  • The availability of many materials, including PFA, UHMWPE, PVDF, 316 stainless steel, Hastelloy C, and titanium.
