Next-Generation Fuses

According to Cooper Bussmann (St. Louis, MO), Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has established a new fuse and fuse holder class for the next generation of circuit protection, and only the Low-Peak CUBEFuse system meets the new Class CF standard. The new Class CF is the first with Peak Current Let-Through Curves in the standard, which cover the range of currents from 25kA to 300kA.

According to Cooper Bussmann (St. Louis, MO), Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has established a new fuse and fuse holder class for the next generation of circuit protection, and only the Low-Peak CUBEFuse system meets the new Class CF standard. The new Class CF is the first with Peak Current Let-Through Curves in the standard, which cover the range of currents from 25kA to 300kA. The CUBEFuse system is the first finger-safe power fuse and fuse holder package, plus DIN rail- or panel-mounting, and is available in single-pole 30A, 60A, and 100A versions. In addition, the fuse is available with easyID indication.
