Clamp Metering Gets Flexible

Fluke Corporation (Everett, WA) has introduced its new iFlex flexible current probes, which are designed to make current measurement easier for industrial technicians. The probes use a large coil that allows users to reach around large or awkwardly-shaped conductors up to 6” in diameter, and expands the measurement range of select Fluke meters to 2000 amps.

In addition, the 6’ cord makes it easier to see readings while standing at a distance from the conductor. The iFlex probes connect directly to the meter, displaying current measurements without error-prone scaling factors, and are available in 10” and 18” sizes as well. The new probes come included with the new Fluke 381 and 376 Clamp Meters, and are compatible with Fluke 374 and 375 meters as well.
