Omega Engineering (Stamford, CT) has introduced their long-distance industrial wireless transmitters and receivers — the UWXL series — that are designed for a variety of applications, including temperature, infrared temperature, relative humidity, process transducers, as well as pH. The UWXL has an IP68-rated industrial enclosure, and includes free software that converts the user’s PC into a multi-channel chart recorder or data logger, including compatibility with both of Omega’s UWTC-REC and UWXL-REC wireless receivers.
