Dorner (Hartland, WI) has developed a system to draw conveyor systems — www.dornercad.com — which is designed to save time and serve as a link to more than one million model possibilities. The new conveyor model configurator allows users to draw virtually any conveyor model in 3D, which allows users to see what their conveyors will look prior to purchase, and it allows them to change the conveyor sizes in increments as small as 1/8”. Additional features include:
- The ability to draw and configure all of Dorner’s major conveyor platforms: 2200, 3200, 4100, 5200, 6200, 7200, 7300, 7350, 7400, 7600 and MPB Series.
- A model preview that allows users to view, rotate, and zoom in on the model before downloading.
- The ability to include gearmotor mounting packages, mounting brackets, and support stands.
