Badger Meter (Milwaukee, WI) has released their industrial oval gear flow meter — the Model IOG — for flow measurement solutions compatible with viscous or highly-corrosive fluids. The flow meters are available in two different construction materials: aluminum with liquid crystal polymer gears (for petroleum, non-acids, oil, paint and ink applications), and stainless steel with stainless steel gears (for cosmetic, acid, water mix and fertilizer applications). Additional features include:
- Sizes that include 1/2”, 3/4”, and 1” sizes with inline National Pipe Thread and British Straight Pipe Thread, or flanged in 150, 300, and DIN 16.
- The ability to survive in extreme environments.
- An accuracy rate of ±0.5 percent, even in low flow environments, with the ability to be installed vertically or horizontally.
- The capacity to operate up to 800 PSI.
