Pinpoint Laser Systems (Peabody, MA) has announced a new four-axis Microgage Receiver, which provides useful alignment information for evaluating and correcting machinery alignment problems. The 4D Receiver measures two linear axes, and their two angular components: yaw and pitch. According to the company, the tool is ideal for aligning lathes, turning centers, spindles, as well as linear slides, injection molding machinery, and more. Additional features include:
- A compact digital display that is easy to use.
- The ability to use the receiver at distances of 100’ or more.
- A measuring precision of 0.0005” and 0.002°, which makes it ideal for demanding industrial alignment applications.
