Miamisburg, Ohio -- Carlisle Transportation Products has announced its new Power-Wedge Cog-Belts that are now made of EPDM. EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a synthetic rubber that is durable, static conductive and has a broad operating temperature range. EPDM also resists hardening and glazing and is oil and heat resistant.

According to Calisle, EPDM Power-Wedge Cog-Belts are smoother running and specially designed for increased performance. The belt side walls reduce vibration for extended component life. A new cog profile reduces bending stress for improved flexibility and optimum performance on small diameter pulleys.
