According to Garlock Safety Systems, the SpeedGuard II attaches in minutes utilizing standard trailer pockets. This product is designed to protect employess, in a fall from a trailer's height more than 720 ft. lbs of energy and 4300 lbs of impact force can be generated. This is more than enough to cause severe injury or fatality. The Kit covers 48-foot trailers with extension option to 53-feet. SpeedKart with brake carries entire system with ladder and can be maneuvered by one man. System meets applicable OSHA 1926.502 standards for fall protection.
