Rugged Cycles have developed an industrial-friendly bicycle with an airless, chainless design. Instead of a traditional chain, the Rugged version uses a drive shaft, which helps eliminate the most common cause of industrial bike-related injuries: the chain. The solid polyurethane tires use no air, which makes them impossible to deflate, and reduces maintenance costs and time. According to the company, a 97 percent rust-free metallurgy provides resistance to rust and corrosion.
