EagleBurgmann has developed DiamondFaces, a synthetically-manufactured, ultrapure diamond — with the same characteristic as a natural stone — for seal coating. A microcrystalline coating of 8-µm thickness on a silicon carbide seal face extends the life of the seal, reduces maintenance costs, according to the company. Additional features include:
