Asymmetric Fasteners Inc. (Hackettstown, NJ) has introduced a new series of Torksleeve ATM fasteners that offers significant advantages for mounting gears and pulleys to rotating shafts. The self-locking, dynamically balanced Torksleeve ATS offers high torque transmission and low ID to OD ratio, eliminates the need for additional locking components, and resists axial loads, says the company. The new Torksleeve ATS can also make it easier for assemblers, or maintenance crews to position, reposition, and lock components on shaft. The series is available in inch and millimeter sizes.
