HTX-2 chemicals are acceptable as an ingredient for use in heat transfer fluids where there is no possibility of food contact for use in and around food processing areas. HX-2 chemicals are acceptable as an ingredient for use in lubricants, also with no food contact. They can be used as lubricants, release agents, or anti-rust films on equipment and machine parts in locations where there is no possibility of the lubricant or lubricated part contacting edible products. OIL-GLO Series fluorescent dyes are used to find leaks in all oil-circulating fluid systems, including hydraulic and lubrication fluids, compressor oil, engine oil, and gearbox oil. Wherever the oil escapes, so does the dye, which remains at the site of all leaks.
