Speaker Corporation (Germantown, WI) has announced its latest LED worklight, the Model 6020. The Model 6020 features a durable die-cast aluminum housing and impact-resistant polycarbonate lens. Solid-state electronics inside the Model 6020 make it impervious to shock and vibration that would cause bulb-based lights to prematurely fail, says the company. J.W. Speaker says it has applied the latest in LED technology and optical design to create a flood beam pattern that maximizes visibility and increases safety. The Model 6020 has a light output of 1,800 raw lumens and 1,010 effective lumens. The color temperature of the Model 6020 mimics that of a bright, noonday sun, which is not only easy on the eyes, but helps to promote alertness.
