The Gressel gripos from Rotec Tools Ltd. (Millwood, NY) has been designed for clamping raw parts and finished workpieces. A wide range of accessories ensures the versatility of the equipment, says the company. The clamping force is generated via a mechanical force cassette and a spindle assembly. A setting ring is used for continuous adjustment of the force from 4 to 30/40kN. The set clamping force is achieved by simply turning the clamping lever (maximum is 160 degrees). Mounting and removing the gripos is very quick and easy.
