MILWAUKEE — The National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) recently honored Rockwell Automation with the Industry of Merit Award for its long-standing commitment to its distributors and its successful approach to building strong partnerships aimed at fostering positive business results.

“Rockwell Automation has had a profound impact on our great industry for more than 50 years. This is a company that is known for the long, strong and personal relationships it builds with its distributor partners, including sharing resources through training opportunities. They support NAED because it provides great value to the distributors and to the electrical industry,” said Jim Risk, CEO, Kirby Risk Electrical Supply Company, a distributor for nearly eight decades.

The annual achievement awards recognize companies that have made significant contributions to the electrical industry and have been exceptionally active in promoting, supporting and improving the electrical distribution channel.

“This award reflects our ongoing commitment to our distributors, customers and NAED. NAED provides Rockwell Automation distributor partners great benefit in the quest to overcome obstacles and disruptors that we face in this technology-driven world. This award is a great honor for our company,” said Steve DuBois, regional vice president, North America channels, Rockwell Automation.

The award was presented at the 2018 NAED national meeting on May 21 in Chicago.
