Naperville, IL — C.H. Hanson, one of the nation’s oldest manufacturers, has acquired the assets of Pearson Industries, a manufacturer of ventilators and ventilation accessories. Pearson is best known for its powerful, portable, lightweight fans that include the top-selling 100,000 continuous duty hours 12-inch Velocity.

“There is a visible competitive advantage with 12-inch Velocity,” explains Andrew Hanson, vice president of marketing. “Both companies have established their reputations on providing American-made products with an emphasis on customer service. We are now producing the Pearson product line at our manufacturing facilities in Naperville.”

“Several years ago, we purchased the nearly century-old Palmgren Products, a manufacturer of drill press vises, general purpose vises, drill presses and bench grinders. We have been looking at complementary acquisitions that serve the same marketing niches we do and ones that reflect our commitment to service, product selection, and delivery,” Hanson adds.

Pearson’s ventilation products join the more than 5,000 products that C.H. Hanson manufactures and distributes worldwide for use in metalworking, abrasive finishing, work holding, industrial marking, maintenance, and repair, fabricating and electrical safety.
