FRANKLIN, WI — Galland Henning Nopak, Inc. (GHN), a manufacturer of high-density balers and hydraulic and pneumatic valves and cylinders, celebrated its 130th anniversary August 18. In recognition of this milestone, GHN hosted local government officials, GHN owners and Board of Directors at its headquarters in Franklin, WI. GHN is a fourth-generation family-owned, professionally-managed business that began in 1887 with entrepreneur Robert Nunnemacher.

“Our family, GHN leadership and board today commemorate our 130-year legacy of engineering innovation by recognizing the hard work of our talented employees who have helped achieve this milestone,” said Heath A. Nunnemacher, Owner and Director. “We are proud of our legacy, but we remain focused on the future with continued investments in a new facility, machinery and employees to help expand our product offerings and customer base and drive our next growth cycle in the years to come.”

“The company’s success can be attributed to the dedication and hard work of our employees, the strong relationships we have with our distributors and customers, and our openness to delivering more value through the next generation of engineering solutions,” said Brian Sternberg, President, GHN. “We thank our team for their hard work, and remain focused on producing the most proven, robust solutions for our customers worldwide.”

GHN first found success manufacturing pneumatic malting equipment for the Milwaukee beer industry, serving legendary brewers Pabst, Schlitz, Blatz, and Miller, among others. Today, its portfolio also includes scrap metal balers, air control valves, and hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders for the fluid power industry.

In recognition of GHN’s 130th Anniversary, the city of Franklin and the County of Milwaukee have presented GHN with proclamations.

“On behalf of the City of Franklin, I express my sincere congratulations to Galland Henning Nopak on their 130th anniversary,” stated Franklin Mayor, Steve Olson. “GHN is an industry leader, with an outstanding workforce and leadership team. We are proud to see them thrive in the Franklin Industrial Park and look forward to many more decades of growth.”
