Molecular Detection Assay Salmonella

Company's new molecular detection assay helps food processors and other parties detect Salmonella. The assay is certified for egg, meat, dairy, powdered dairy products, cocoa-based products, spices and herbs, concentrates and instant coffees.

Company's new molecular detection assay Salmonella has received an extension. The test kit helps food processors and other parties detect Salmonella and consequently prevent salmonellosis. The kit is now validated by the AFNOR Certification for all human foods and environmental samples. The new validations confirm the molecular approach for pathogen detection. The assay is certified for egg, meat and dairy food products, excluding milk powders. In 2013, the AFNOR committee found the assay to be as or more effective than standard methods for detecting Salmonella in seafood, vegetable products and environmental samples taken from food processing sites. The newest NF validation certification for the assay is now certified for the detection of Salmonella in powdered dairy products, cocoa-based products, spices and aromatic herbs, concentrates, and instant coffees and teas using specific protocols for those challenging foods.
