The PowerChek x-ray system identifies objects that are a different density than the product it is inspecting by using a vertical single beam, an electronically controlled, low-powered x-ray generator, and data and image analysis software. If the system detects a foreign object, it automatically saves the image, and the package is removed from the production line.
