The Robotic Empty Can Bulk Palletizer was developed for food and aerosol can manufacturers to palletize empty steel cans. The unit is a flexible cell that utilizes stationary load building, meaning the pallet does not lower for each layer, eliminating disruption to previously palletized layers. A vertical travel layer squaring assembly provides precise and uniform layer patterns. The design also offers flexibility for can infeed locations. With floor level operation, there is no need for operator platforms. The unique end-of-arm tooling is capable of handling layers of cans, layer pads, top frames and empty pallets, reducing the number of assemblies and parts on the machine.
