Sealmaster Triathlon Washdown Conveyor-Mounted Ball Bearing

Regal Beloit Corporation has launched its Sealmaster Triathlon washdown conveyor-mounted ball bearing to provide customers and OEMs with an economical composite performance option in the beverage processing industry.

Regal Beloit Corporation recently launched its Sealmaster Triathlon washdown conveyor-mounted ball bearing to provide customers and OEMs with an economical composite performance option in the beverage processing industry.

The Triathlon washdown conveyor bearing features the Sealmaster PN Gold bearing insert which is a high-phosphorus, nickel-plated bearing inner and outer ring for exceptional corrosion resistance and a high-performance, triple-lip seal to minimize contamination ingress and retain lubrication. The bearing also features the SKWEZLOC locking collar which centers the shaft in the bearing bore, securing the shaft with near-perfect concentricity while not damaging commonly used stainless steel shafting.

To maintain its smaller footprint design, the Triathlon washdown conveyor bearing has a reduced bolt hole spacing to replace OEM compact conveyor designs on 40 mm and 1½-inch sizes. Additional features include:

  • Lubed for Life design with tapered land outer ring race profile to direct lubrication into the ball path
  • Durable polyamide housing with corrosion-resistant bolt hole spacers
  • Securely fastened snap-in end cap to further protect the bearing with a drain hole to prevent liquid buildup inside
