The FD 2.5, which nicely holds one standard bakery rack with 20–40 trays of product, utilizes the company’s proven, energy efficient, Heat Pump Technology. This unit, as with the company’s other food dehydrators that utilize Heat Pump Technology, delivers lower operating costs due to its high energy efficiency.

The FD 2.5 dehydrator is perfect for a broad range of products, including, but not limited to: fruits (e.g. apples, blueberries, pineapple), vegetables (e.g. kale, tomatoes, onions), meat (e.g. beef, chicken, jerky), mushrooms (all types) and fish (all types), as well as nuts, herbs and spices.
