3rd-Generation Simulation Software for Process Plants

MYNAH Technologies, Chesterfield, MO, has released MiMiC v3.0.0, the first third-generation simulation software solution for the dynamic modeling of process plant unit operations. Used in more than 900 process plants worldwide, MiMiC is unique in that it is designed for operator training and software acceptance testing, where the greatest simulation ROI occurs. MiMiC v3 supports simulation interfaces for Emerson, Schneider, HIMA, Open OPC, Open Modbus TCP/IP and, in the next release, Rockwell. The MiMiC v3 development team plans the following enhancements for the August release: DeltaV Web Services Simulation Builder, DeltaV Simulate SIS Driver and Utilities, Distillation Modeling Package, Modbus TCP/IP and Serial Driver, pH Modeling Function Block, 2-Phase Separator Model, and numerous usability enhancements.
