The ORTEC® business unit of AMETEK Advanced Measurement Technology (AMT) has released the DigiBASE-E, an all-in-one digital gamma spectrometer for scintillation detectors, built into a standard 14-pin photomultiplier tube base. The spectrometer can operate at ultra high count-rates, consuming very low power. The unit also features:
- An ethernet (PoE) communications interface.
- A 32-bit counter channel.
- Conventional pulse height analysis and list mode data acquisition.
- Optional trapezoidal filter with lower dead-time per processed pulse.
