MG America To Introduce New Cartoner To North American Market

MG America a leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment, will introduce the new Kartos I/100 Cartoner to the North American market this fall at Pharma EXPO.

Fairfield, NJ MG America, the U.S. subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, Italy and a leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment, will introduce the new Kartos I/100 Cartoner to the North American market this fall at Pharma EXPO Booth #677, November 2-5 in Chicago. Pharma EXPO is a new sister show to the annual PACK EXPO conference.  

Designed for pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic applications, the servo motor-driven,intermittent motionmachine offers an exceedingly wide format range and a maximum output of 100 cartons per minute.

Features of the Kartos I/100 Cartoner include an ergonomic balcony design, a compact footprint and fast, easy changeover that can be performed without tools.  Positive carton forming and belt transmission are additional benefits.  The machine is comprised of premium Allen-Bradley components, and offers a programmable logic controller (PLC) as well as HMI.

Feeding systems for a wide variety of packaging formats are available for the Kartos I/100, including those for blisters, sachets, suppositories, tubes, bottles, trays, vials, jars, and flow-packs, among others.
