tecsis LP offers the Model XLUS88, a subminiature, bidirectional, tension/compression load cell for ranges from as low as 150 grams up to 1,000 lbs. With a compact size of only 0.50" to 0.75" in diameter, this load cell is ideal for applications where space is limited. The wide measurement range and exceptional accuracy makes this sensor popular for test, measurement, and process monitoring and control uses. The stainless steel XLUS88 is fully welded and built to perform in rugged conditions with an overload capacity of 150% FS. Mechanical overload stops are standard on ranges below 1000 grams, and an option on all other ranges. Accuracy specs include 0.10% repeatability, ±0.50% linearity, and ±0.50% hysteresis (FSO). The unit has an operating temperature from -65° to +250°F, and is temperature compensated from +60° to +160°F.
