ADCO Manufacturing's Compact-4 vertical end load cartoner erects cartons, pauses for hand-filling, and then glues or tucks each paperboard carton at speeds up to 40 per minute. It’s perfect for small products such as vials or bottles or other small- to medium-sized products. The ADCO Compact 4 cartoner features two ergonomic hand-load product areas, plus a quick-change star-wheel design which allows for eight unique operations including erecting, filling, closing flaps, and sealing. The space-saving machine has a footprint of only 4 feet by 6 feet (by 78 inches tall) and is simple to changeover. The machine has advanced guarding with safety light curtains and product sensors; includes a Nordson® ProBlue hot melt glue system (when specified); and is capable of erecting and closing tablock-style or glued cartons. The carton size range for this machine is: Length of opening: 1 inch – 4.72 inches. Width of opening: 0.71 inches - 4.54 inches. Carton depth: 2.36 inches - 7.09 inches.
