Toughen Up with Braided Hose Assemblies

Parker Hannifin manufactures PTFE polypropylene braided hose assemblies to handle applications where corrosive chemicals attack stainless steel.

PTFE polypropylene braided hose assembliesParker Hannifin manufactures PTFE polypropylene braided hose assemblies to handle applications where corrosive chemicals attack stainless steel. The company says that the hose assemblies are:

  • 20 percent lighter than traditional stainless steel braided hoses and are much more flexible, making it easier to route through tight spaces.
  • Plastic, rather than a metal, so the burn risk for operators working around this product is much lower, and the hose will not conduct electricity.
  • Supplied in a light blue braid and are available in convoluted assemblies in either natural or static-dissipative tubes.
  • Available in sizes ranging from ¼ up to 4 inches O.D., and hoses operate in temperatures up to 212°F/100°C.
