Clark CFSClark Solutions has designed its CFS Series turbine flow sensors not only for water and water-compatible clean fluid flow measurement applications, but also with a 500,000-L service life rating. According to the company, more specifically:

  • CFS2000 sensors can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, have 3/8-inch female NPT connections and are rated for flow ranges of 1.0 to 14.1 LPM, with a temperature operating range of up to 40°C. Furthermore, they feature a magnet embedded in the turbine, which closes a hermetically isolated reed switch when in proximity. With an accuracy of ±10 percent of measured value, these sensors employ a PA plastic magnet turbine to close a hermetically isolated reed switch when in proximity.
  • CFS4400 sensors boast of flow ranges to 20 LPM, 1/2-inch BSP connections and a temperature operating range up to 80°C.
  • CFS3000A sensors come with an accuracy of ±5 percent of measured value, flow ranges from 0.8 to 8.0 LPM, a temperature operating range up to 40°C and pressures to 6 BAR. These flow sensors, moreover, are designed for horizontal mounting orientation with 1/4-inch male NPT connections.
