Volkmann INEXVolkmann has unveiled its ATEX-approved INEX vacuum conveying system for the vacuum transfer of dry or wet powder and granules into potentially hazardous conditions. According to the company, the INEX reactor loader additionally delivers:

  • A patent-pending nitrogen purging function that reduces oxygen content within the unloaded batch to below 7 percent  (or lower when required), maintaining the material’s inert safety, while providing dust-free transport.
  • A multiple-stage Venturi Multijector® vacuum pump to permit dense-phase transportation under vacuum without segregation, damage or abrasion, for effective and reliable transport.
  • A closed station that can be flushed from within by sucking in the washing liquid or through wash/clean in place (WIP/CIP) operation.
  • Safe and user-friendly vacuum conveying featuring complete pneumatic transfer and no electric components.
  • Suitability for dust explosion zones (with material MIE greater than 3 mJ).
  • The flexibility to purchase a stationary or mobile unit, depending on the application.
  • Availability of PTFE/EFTE-coated vacuum conveyors for improved chemical resistance.
