Sure Seal recently launched its Rhino-T steel hopper tee for use in demanding transportation applications, such as hauling highly abrasive material like hydraulic fracturing (or fracking) sand, carbide and silica. The company says that the Rhino-T hopper tee also delivers:
- A swooping radius that directs the product flow.
- Reversible mounting and a wear indicator that allow for maximum product utilization.
- A body constructed of a special-grade alloy steel that is 40 percent harder than standard tees, but weighs the same.
- Wear saddles on each side of the unit, plus additional pads in higher wear areas to improve longevity.
- A weight of 23 pounds.
- Availability in 5-inch sizes, including the 5-inch cast steel hopper tee, plain to plain; the 5-inch powder-coated cast steel hopper tee, plain to plain; 5-inch cast steel hopper tee, groove to groove; 5-inch powder-coated cast steel hopper tee, groove to groove; the 5-inch cast steel hopper tee, plain to groove; and the 5-inch powder-coated cast steel hopper tee, plain to groove.
